In ancient Greek mythology, Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom made owls her favorite among birds. As the symbol of Athena, the Owl was a protector and provided decorative inspiration for ancient people in their daily lives. If an Owl flew over someone, they took it as a sign of victory.

Dimensions: 2 1/4 inches long by 5/8 inches wide. (measurement is not including French hook, which makes earring 3 inches long)
